i cant find LNA 1v1 on wolfmap.de…and i also cant find maps there with starting letter L which seem to be 1v1 :frowning: where can i download it ?

the map Osiris is some kind of virus? Well I tired to download it twice and it download 2 different .exe’s which I deleted immediately??

and i see in the jury, crush3r isn’t that a hacker? just sayin’

the download from the host is very slow, as I suppose the file are missing in the http folder…

I like the dynamic parts in thornes map, first in the matrix map I was like wtf, is this it lol, but then I noticed everything breaking :stuck_out_tongue:
Market looks like the next lna1v1, interesting idea, but the textures and atmosphere kinda kill it.
Station looks pretty cool, ashame it only goes to 4 caps (or was it 3), I would vote for this one :stuck_out_tongue:

No, just the osiris_b1.tga is wrong. Delete it out of the pk3 and the map works.

Edit: You downloaded an EXE instead of a pk3 or zip?

“The Station” is for me the best map. :slight_smile:

that sounds really wierd and creepy, i will never again download any .pk3 file from the internet, i would rather make them myself or go to a server with them, i cant wait to see some screenshots of the maps

it said save pk3 to bla bla, so then i saved it to “my desktop/new maps” which was a new folder and when I went to copy the maps (from that folder to my etmain) there was something else there, like one of my desktop icons but in the wrong place I was like wtf delete, tried it again, same thing happened only that time a different icon.

That’s why i thought it was a virus, trying to trick me into clicking it

I really liked Osiris and the Station, the rest seemed extremely rushed save for a few that had proper attention to lighting, and one was just… could of been better. :slight_smile: Ah well, good to see some more maps, but I think next time

  1. Extend the timeline a little longer, that was a very short contest.
  2. Post on more places. A Map-Craft post would of been a productive because there are a few ET mappers hanging around there and some pro’s including a mapper from Movebattles2 Mod and some mappers from very famous maps. Also, I didn’t see a levelmakers.com post either. :slight_smile: They have a slowly developing ET community as the website becomes more popular, as it was recently started by AstroCreep

Ye unfortunately I’m not into the mapping communitys very much x) But will give it a try in the next bigger contest. The period was not too short for a small 1on1 map if you actually started at the beginnng. For the 6on6 competition we will also only have around 3-4 Month as the Crossfire Contest had back then (with some great results!)
