Any chance you could change the merc limit rule to be the same as what Dirtycups.gg are using? They just announced rules for their new cup series and they’re only limiting the use of Assaults (Fragger and Nader) to one each. The merc limit rule has huge effect on the gameplay so it’s quite challenging for the teams to constantly change their playing style and merc combinations for different tournaments.

If not for this tournament, for the future it would be great if the cup organizers could discuss these important rules together and have a common set of rules.

its quite challenging, but imo now is the best time to test these things out.

I personally hope for the 1 Merc rule…

agree on paper, but without ingame restrictions there could be violations, if someone decided to switch and teammate didnt etc.
would be pity if some new team will be punished via forfeit because of game is not yet updated for 1 merc competitive play.

(prophett) #6

Hope this is what the eventual rule set ends up being. Just need more mercs in the pool.

(PixelTwitch) #7

haha you mean next couple of week with phoenix >.<

(prophett) #8

Exactly! I don’t want to be the poor **** who gets stuck playing Aura with ass weapons :]

#9

Will this be streamed over twitch? If so, what channel?

(Glottis-3D) #10

Wish good luck to all participants!

(Anti) #11

Not sure of the actual channel but I believe it’ll be listed here once it’s live http://tv.eslgaming.com/

Will you guys be providing us with servers? So far I don’t see any being added, apart from DirtyCup’s 2 US and EU servers. Which considering there’s 10 EU teams signed up, going for US hosts would be a bit silly.

Game wont last in esl without hacking fixed, the community will be non-existant.

(Chux) #14

The game wont even start in ESL, let alone survive.
