I’ve got way too much TF2 in my system. Because I also always thought that standing as an enemy next to the maintenance bot stops it from moving (like payload in TF2).

I guess the best way to do this is by also moving backwards. Being disguised is all about good acting!

Suprised so many people didnt realise it would work, You can obviously just stand next to it need to move around n that dont look suspisous but works really well

I do this too. Works surprisingly well, against both humans and bots. It can really make a difference when attacking on Container City, especially.

As if any decent opponent wouldnt damage the bot to prevent it from moving or shoot the hostage. The idea is nice and if you can pull of that or any trick as Op i´m the last person to envy your fun, but useful will be the engi and the medic.

Yeah, this works great. I was able to get the bot right by the enemy spawn on Container City. Hey, the bot knows who you are, lol!

Op can be the funnest class if you like going off alone and highly pissing off the other team with your abilities, Have spent whole matches behind lines holding up 2-4guys at a time cause after a few sneak attacks or kills they had it out for me and left the main objective alone to look for me beind their lines. And with a light guy good luck ever catching them if you dont pop them off the start. Hahahahahaa having so much fun with my level 20 Med/Op, dont have to be in the meat grinder to get **** done or support teamates (thank you revive grenade)! The disguise in this game works better and is more fair then many other games i have tried with a similar feature, def love it.

I use the OP’s tactic, too. It works wonders for any escort objective, even NPC ones.

The nice thing about escorting the bot in Disguise, though, is that only one or two enemies ever catch on. When I run a Medium Operative, this is especially powerful, because one direct hit from the Underslung Grenade Launcher and some follow-up fire and you can successfully down the one or two aggressors who actually realize that you are a Disguised Operative.

Also, if your cover is blown, you can throw down Caltrops and a Sticky Bomb direct access to the bot’s path. The map that this is especially effective on is Container City playing as Security.

I got 3K experience yesterday by just squatting next to the incapacitated bot in disguise while I waited for the medics. When he was finally revived I was able to get him all the way out right under the enemy’s noses. Sweet.
