Escortable Tank Issue

Hi again, seems ive done something strange with my map.

Situation:

When i I devmap my map, everything is normal. My tank and truck both behave as told in the script.

Now when i make it into a pk3, and try to escort either, the model seems to turn 180 degrees facing backwards, then tilts the nose down at a 45 degree angle. The sounds work properly, the clips and such moves as it should, but the model itself will freeze it seems till it reaches the next spline where it will skip from one location to the next. If I stop escorting, its shifts and sits in its normal position.

I can post some shots but I think this explains it quite well.

Ive checked to make sure I have the proper script file, models and such included. Maybe someone knows what might be causing this.

I’m not sure if this will help but have you tried moving all your original scripts and stuff out of their normal testing locations i.e. etmain/maps etc.

Because when you devmap thats where it picks up the stuff from, but when you pk3 it it should just look at the pk3 but i think it can still pick up bits from those locations.

I think i had a problem with a script that wouldn’t work properly until i moved out all the old stuff into safekeeping elsewhere.

Not sure if this will help or not, worth a try maybe.

If you turn on sv_pure, it won’t read those folders. If you turn it off, probably the pk3 is read first but not for certain.

seems it was just a bad install of et, i found it was doing it to fuel dump and goldrush as well.

So clean install and all is fine.
