Escort objectives

Ive got an idea for my map, but I need to know if it can be done; so I asked here first.

Could I have some thing like a tank, you can escort, which has health, but when it is destroyed only a medic can fix it by standing in the trigger zone?

It might be possible through some clever scripting, a class/team specific trigger and a timer…

But don’t expect to see a health bar pop up like an engineer sees when he’s building something.

Id only need it so the health bar on the model would become full. Its basically escorting a person, so Id need a medic to fix him, not an engineer; it would look odd.

Ah, are you thinking of having to escort a person?
Like capturing some scientist or something?

If so, that could be interesting, especially if he keeps running back whenever he isn’t being escorted :smiley:

sounds like a mod on bots, they can be healed, maybe FritzBot guys could help, and I agree, sounds very interesting

Ive modelled a person, he has animation of walking, dying and being idle. The idea is to get into the base, and escort him to safty. I will try to get him to play the different animations when needed, as he follows the splins.

Make it dual objective; the Allies have to escort the hostage to safety, and one of the Axis spawn with a bomb. Oh wait, that’s some other game.
