(Saleze) #1

Hello,

When I want to load my map im getting the following error:

CM_loadmap: maps/salezejumps.bsp has wrong version number (1953391904 should be 47)

Anyone knows how to fix this?

Waiting for feedback,

Kind regards,
Saleze

I don’t know much about it myself, but here’s a topic posted a few days ago about that same matter:

I got this error before, except it was for a Rtcw Sp map. Winzip was the cause of this error message for me. I chose to compress the pk3 to save on pk3 size, but that produced this error message.

Are you using Winzip, and if yes, are you choosing to compress to save on pk3 size?

I saw a post in this topic about the iirc version 46 = ET 2.55, I am using 2.55 so I should have version 46, but now my question is where can I find out which version of iirc I am using?

P.S ronboy
I am not using winzip anyways so I think thats not the problem,

Thanks.

The bsp is exactly same for every ET versions. Sounds like a compile error. How are you executing your compiler to compile your map? By radiant? We need more information. Can you compile other maps and load them? How are you testing the map (without/with pk3)? Etc.
