this is a new one to me. When I compile (BSP phase) I get the error:
MAX_ORIGINAL_EDGES
I can’t find it in any Q3 error listings, so I can only presume it’s new to either ET or recent Q3Map versions.
Anyone know what it is?

I’ve seen alot of errors but this one is new to me too.
The only thing I could find about this one was at a moh forum.
I don’t know if it helps but here’s the link…
It only happens during the FixTJunction phase of the compile. Apparently, you have hit the limit of 65536 original edges. At this point, my understanding of the q3map2 code fades, and I’m not sure if “original edges” are the set of unique triangle edges in the map, or if it is the number of unique edges allowed per meta surface.
EDIT: If it is the later, then I wonder, do you have an extremely large terrain?
Maybe ydnar will stroll along and clear things up.
It was the number of edges in a meta surface. I had to reduce the number of triangles in my terrain
