Error creating game rendering context (Intel integrated graphics)

I get this message right after attempting to play the game and seeing the bethesda splash screen.

I have a laptop using the Intel HD integrated Graphics. It’s on an i3 processor.

So far people have been saying to get rid of triple buffering but I don’t think it’s possible to do with the on board graphics.

Sadly I think I’m going to ask steam for a refund if this isn’t fixed soon… -sigh-

Yeah, I’ve been thinking the same thing. This is simply not working, it’s a shame too because I was so hyped up for it, had a shirt for it from Quakecon I wore regularly… bitter.

“Intel® HD Graphics support hardware acceleration for OpenGL* applications in 16-bit and 32-bit color depths. The latest Intel® graphics drivers provide support for the OpenGL version 2.1.”

After the patch, it now says the video card combination does not support OpenGL 3.1 or newer, and it’s right. We don’t.
