Equipment case A and B? (Idea)

The chances of getting the merc you want in the rarity you want from equipment cases are, as we all know, very low. Would it be a good idea to introduce A and B cases for them aswell, like the expert and elite cases, with the same or similiar mercs in each case? I saw some youtubers talking about this a while back and I personally thought it was a nice idea (it’s still just an idea, I’m not expecting this to be a thing). I do realize these cases are not ment do give you the best cards or be an easy way to get them. But would it be too easy if this was added, or would it benefit the players and not make the unboxing depend so much on RNGeesus?

If you expect a cobalt drop from a case, for the merc you want, you’re not in the good way. Cobalts drop are bonuses. Trades up are the only efficient way to get your loadout. If you aim at cobalts. Equipment cases are only trade up materials.
If you want a cobalt from a case, better buy an elite case, where you can choose between 3 sets of mercs.

I don’t know…most of the time you’re just using those cases for trade up fodder, like Clem said…

The odds of getting even a good Bronze are just so low…and what happens if you want a case A but B keeps dropping?

I suppose maybe for purchasing cases but free cases I don’t see much point.

Like two blokes above said, there’s not really point of increasing the chances of getting anything good out of Equipment cases.
However, Expert and Elite cases A, B, C and D pl0x. Maybe even E, one case type for each class.
I know I know… asking less RNG for 5-3.5€/$ cases that will most likely even with 5 cases give you a bad silver card is too much to ask

I didn’t think of that, lol. It would indeed be kinda weird to get either a or b cases dropped after matches. I kinda just threw the idea out here to hear some opinions on it.

What I had in mind was the people that don’t want to spend real money on cases, so increasing their chances of getting some good cards from in-game money would be a nice favor, although I agree with yall that it would be kinda weird to have 2 sets of equipment cases :stuck_out_tongue: (dammit, we need a fucking shortcut for that word, cause I never get it right on the first try)

We don’t need A and B equipment cases.
You are not gonna get something good out of these cases, you will mostly get only leads and sometimes irons which can be used as tradeup materials. If you are lucky you will get that 1 bronze and once in a month maybe a silver or gold.
Don’t plan on getting something better than a bronze out of these cases, just use everything you unbox from them for a tradeup
If you really want a cobalt, buy 10 elite cases bundle and maybe you will get lucky

Well like I said, for purchasing cases it may not be bad but for case drops I don’t see much point.

You get Leads or Irons. Imo it’s irrelevant since you trade-up to a merc you want anyways.
