Hi all,
I’ve got a problem with a model.
It’s the models/mapobjects/light/cagelight.md3 model.
When I do a bsp it says that this model is leaked.
I’ve got 4 cagelights in my map and only one gets the error.
Please tell me what to do :???:

If your model siticks in a structural brush just move it a little bit so that it does no longer stick in the structural brush.
This is a problem with a particular version of q3map2 apparently i had the same problem and it just kept jumping from entity to the next, i just ignore the message it doesn’t affect the compilation of the level at all.
You might wanna try downloading the latest q3map2 from ydnar which might help the situation do a search to find download location.
Actually, I think this has something to do with the model itself. I tried this cagelight, and the map leaked. I put another model there, and the map compiled perfectly fine. I don’t know what’s up with this…!help?
Also: I have the latest version of Q3Map2
Check to make sure you don’t have any strange Origin keys for your entity. I once copied a speaker from an old map into a new one with different bounds, and even though I dragged the entity inside my new map, the Origin values still had the old values, which were outside of the new map, which caused the ‘Entity Leaked’ error.
Hopefully run-on sentences don’t cause any problems… :blah:
Normally the cagelight model has to work,
Drakir used it in Navarone, I will ignore the ‘entity leaked’ messages.
DAbell u were right, it just keeps jumping from entity to the next.

The entity leaked is just a warning. Your map is fine, you can just ignore it. Also I think if you give the entity a scriptname you will not have the problem anymore but you don’t really have to do this since it’s just a warning like I said.
You have to be careful however cause sometimes your map might really heave a leak and you can confuse this for the entity leaked warning. Usually though if the map is really leaking you get a message in the dos window in capital letters. Something like
LEAKED
Yeeh, my map isn’t leaked, so I’ll ignore the ‘entity leaked’ messages.
Thx alot all of u!
