If you want motion blur enabled, these 2 cvars MUST be set to 1:

This game was working fine until mid day today. I noticed that Steam updated brink today, after that it was all blue.
I have dual 9800gxt nvidea cards

[li]The main menu in Brink is blue. In-game you can see the HUD but the rest of the screen is blue. It is impossible to see where you are going.
[/li][li]In-game there is a blue tint to everything, but only when you are in exterior areas, and only on certain maps (e.g. Security Tower/‘Breakout’). You are stilll able to navigate through the environment.

I had a similar problem to this; as soon as I got put to the “archetype” screen to make my character, I could read the text and see the buttons, but everything else was blue and I couldn’t see the character.
I clicked “ok” and went into my video options, set it all down to low, and it all worked.
I am having the issue where external(?) areas are blue tinted, it makes the game impossible to play and At least a workaround would be nice seeing as I payed 90 dollars for this. Thanks
The latest update on Steam should fix issue #1 in most cases. If not please report back in this thread.
People with issue #2 can try the following workaround while we investigate the issue:
Ctrl+Alt+` (tilde key; just below the Esc key)
Once in the developer console, type r_shadows 0 and hit return.
Let us know if that gets rid of the issue in all cases.
