Engineers with carryables.

Engineers, in their current form, gain no additional benefits from being the ones to run objectives. So I propose this. At the cost of reload time doubling (or the inability to reload) and reduced accuracy, engineers should be able to run with their pistol out while carrying the objective. This would give the last objective in chapel a reason to actually have engineers, because lets be honest, the bridge isn’t that necessary.

Just a thought, but it would be cool you know.

Nope. Exact same speed for all interactions with carryables.

Wouldnt the logical choice be to make engineer use/retrieve carryables faster?

Problem with this suggestion is in the loadouts where Engineer’s secondary is not a pistol, but instead a small sidearm SMG. And not really sure if even giving pistols would be good idea.

As much as I’d love to wreack havoc when carrying objective as Fletcher, I don’t think Empire-9 massacre is something considered the most balanced way to go here.
