I am happy to announce that the ET Pro development team now has the engine source code, which will enable us to make ET TV a reality.

Thanks to everyone who made this happen. You know who you are.

I’m sure everyone will now want to know when it will be available.

Short answer: When it’s ready.

Long answer: We want to get ET Pro 2.1 released first, which should happen “soon”. We hope to have an ET TV ready for Quakecon 2004. This means we will have to have something usable by at least a few months before the event, for the Quakecon qualifiers. Don’t expect anything for at least a couple months.

insert Vangelis or Jarre music Perplexed, and in chock, I come to my sense and begin to understand, it will now become reality - et tv. Still, it’s too good to be true. However, something, perhaps the names involved?, make me firmly belive this IS it - the moment we’ve been waiting on.

But aye, indeed Loffy. Too good to be true. And couldnt come at a better time when I get a shoutcast server setup, ts server, new domain and a new et knockout cup on its way! (info coming in next few weeks) The publicity has landed… :>

Note: If anyones interested in Shoutcasting/Streaming Tunes for one Sunday a month and any persons willing to Admin a few games on a Sunday night. (At least 1 or 2 from 4 games between the times 6pm-10pm GMT on the same Sunday.)
