sounds more like you didn’t update to 2.60 from 2.55 or didn’t install 2.55

well, that’s the actual game, everything else is just a patch

actually, it shouldn’t matter, but to be safe delete the entire et install folder before you run the exe, you may need to update punkbuster after new install

If this guy can’t even figure out there’s an edit button… how do we explain…

1)ET installs as 2.55,

2)you patch to 2.60 with the installer. This must be done before attempting 2.60b

3)The 2.60b is a zip file(that contains only 2 .exe’s) that you extract to your etmain and overwrite the 2.60’s .exe’s (say yes to overwrite, the 2.60b is an overwrite)

Just say yes to overwrites.

There’s already a thread discussing a fully patched download in General. Try there instead of the mapping forum. They are also nicer(more helpful to un-searchers) there.

that download should have been 258 meg, you can’t use download accelerators with my ftp server
use save, not run when you download

After i downloaded the game, I double clicked on it and it started to download by itself. It seemed to go ok?
