The bf2 server manager was made by http://www.bf2cc.com which was a piece of crap indeed.
But the BF1942, BF vietnam, Battlfront server managers were made by kevin at http://www.blackbagops.com which had a huge user/fan base because it worked so well.
Was just woundering if SD could have gone down the road of contacting someone like kevin to do an official server manager so roll out/ deployment and setup is easyer for gsp’s and end users alike.

I’m just listing the stuff I remember from using the BF2142CC tool. While the tool itself may not work as well as it could, I do believe it has a lot of nice features that if implemented properly would be a tremendous asset for admins administrating ET:QW servers. It does need to be noted that a seperate deamon runs on the server while the BF2142 game is running and there is a seperate client that interacts with the 2142 deamon.

I particularly like the smart balance feature where clan members are automatically grouped onto the same team, and non clan members are automatically moved to the other team if necessary to make room.
