End of game stats

Right now there’s only K/D statistics, which may paint a very distorted picture of ones contribution. People may be doing serious dmg/assisting, gibbing, obj defending etc, but the end score doesn’t reflect that (XP isn’t always a good marker either - ammopack farming anyone?). In ET/QW we were able to retrieve:

  • Dmg done (both enemy and team dmg)
  • Gibs
  • Accuracy

I know it would mess with the layout of the endgame screen, but SD could at least add assists, so it would be K/A/D, and add a command to the console (/score) like ET/QW had.

Would love to see stats for damage given/damage received/team damage

Would love to see an advanced stats tab at the end of games with damage done, healing done, revives, etc.

I want too see this as well. Why not just simply remove the k/d from the overal score but add a deeper, more explanatory score system on a different tab? So people can expect every detail of the match. That would include ammo drops, med drops, revives, gibs, accuracy, damage etc. The whole gist basically.

I’d like to see a configurable stat page, some stats don’t interest me while others like accuracy, time on objectives, plants do

I think it would be great to see these stats, but I’d take it a step further and make it so we could check the stats from the last dozen games or something. The stats screen often doesn’t stay up very long.

At the very least it should have a ticker for revives and either time spent on objectives or objectives completed.

Just thought about this while reading your post. Do something like blacklight does, at the end of the game show the three characters of the game who did the most. Let’s say one for most kills, one for best medic and the other for best engineer. Not sure if this would work out in any way, just a thought I had.

I’ve been hoping for those assists to be added for quite some time now. Would really make those with less kill potential stand out more for assisting the team.

Anyone remember Brink? The scores were the amount of XP you had accumulated and then you had the scoreboard section with the guy on your team with most kills, best engineer, best medic, etc.

I’m actually surprised that they didn’t bring that back in Dirty Bomb.

This was in Alpha. Why was remove? I have no clue :\

Oh I didn’t know that it was used in the alpha version. That makes it even more odd that they didn’t keep it.

Some more:

  • Revives, heal XP
  • Assist
  • MVP player (maybe last minute defuse or game-winning plant)
  • The amount of ammo and health given/received etc.

Divide the scoreboard into two tabs maybe, basic and complex detail.
