I wonder how many people will get baited into buying these because they get a taste. Very clever.

It’s actually in their own interest, but it’s genius marketing. We think they’re giving out free stuff, which is what they’re doing and is great. But their real goal is to get people that wouldn’t normally buy them to buy them.

Example, these cases have a 5% chance for a Cobalt I believe. That means that 1 in every 20 people that get this free case are getting a Cobalt. There’s a high chance that many of those people, hell even the ones that get a Gold, will buy more thinking it’ll happen again.

Got mine just now. Silver Sparkles, useless sadly. Thankfully I rolled the Companion bronze card on my first trade-up, so I chalk it up to pure karmic balance. :wink:

Very sorry to report the free Elite Case event caused some unforeseen wide-spread issues. This was the reason for the momentary sign-in/authentication issues you may have experienced.
