Editing *.ini and a proper config?

Hey-n-ho gunners and runners,
The title describes it pretty good. I just read about it ingame, but I can not find any proper cfg in my steam folder (yeah, I am playing via steam). It was told that you can edit some *.inis to increase competitive view 'n stuff like dat in (Steam/SteamApps/common/Dirty Bomb/ ShooterGame/config/a lot of *.inis like DeafaultCompat.ini). Which one of those is safe to edit (with back-up ofc) Thanks in advance and sorry if this thread is redundant, GG!

For me, every change made in .ini from documents didnt work. After launching the game everything went back to how it was before editing…

Shooterengine.ini should give you interesting tweaking possibilities. Shooterinput.ini allows you to add some commands if you want some direct shortcuts, i.e. for the voice radio. If you mess with shooterlightmass.ini, you might find something interesting. I may give it a look some day.
