I can make for you tutorial in the avi format for windows movie player , if you want.
I want to rather make terrain by hand with blending, because easygen made terrain donť show textures in GTK Radiant but in game yes, easygen is so made.

There is alternative terrain editor called FATE

i noticed that the texture dont appar in gtk radiant and that sucks :X but would it show if i used fate?

you can’t apply textures in FATE,terrain you made in FATE export to map format and texture manually in GTK Radiant

yes, but there are better users of FATE, when you make terrain in FATE you can use alpha blending textures to look terrain more natural, I can make for you tutorial for basic knowledge for use FATE, and you should ask or write another post for help with make terrain in FATE, Did you install FATE? It is working? Can it start?

But easygen isn’t bad, easygen use very good mapper Drakir, do you know his maps? In easygen you can put and move models (foliage) …
