easygen question

(twt_thunder) #1

ok.so i’ve played with easygen…

but why do the texture become like this?

it looks like shit…

(Zer0Cool) #2

sorry but what exactly do you expect? use the search function there are enough tutorials.

(ischbinz) #3

try to scale the texture (use “+”) when you have textured your terrain with easygen
+
export the shader
+
add the shader to the shaderlist

You can manually tweak it from the shader too. This is the command .

(etmap1) #5

use this
These files work with EasyGen v1.42

They are an updated version of Wolfenstein Enemy Territoy templates and they’ve been sent to me by Roger Cordes.

To install extract the three .shader files into EasyGen emplates directory overwriting the existing ones (if you want keep them, rename to something like wolfetorig_.shader).

As far as I remember there is a shader file generated by Easygen.
But in this shaderfile the baseshader is at the end of the file.
And it belongs to the start.
You should try to search the forums.

sorry guys this shader stuff really stop in my head…lol

but @etmap1 thanx your stuff did the trick

look at my trail now

thanx a lot everybody so far!!!

No Problem man!! ^^

Pressing * normally makes it automatically the correct scale but sometimes can still result in excessive tiling, best to alter the .shader manually.

if you use a 64x64 bitmap, save it first once, then make the grid 32x32 and save the shader…works like a dream
