Easygen and Terrain Textures

Hey,

I’ve been using easygen and I’ve got the physical part down. The part I’m having trouble with is the cosmetic part. Adding the textures. I understand how to import them, but I don’t know where to get them from. Could you tell me how to get them from the maps I have now or any site that can provide me with terrain texture. Your help will be greatly appreciated. Not only by me, but by Codename Ty who I have been bothering with the same question from some weeks now. :slight_smile:

I extracted the textures folder from pak0.pk3 into etmain/textures/ and then select the folder temperate_sd (or your custom folder) from Easygen

Any ideas what extractor I can use? Mine doesn’t seen to work for pk3’s.

pk3-files are renamed zip files.
You can search for pakscape.
A litlle very handy tool.

Sweet, I got it guys. Thanks for the help. Now I can get started doing some real mapping :).
