Easy kill, easy go.

Many of you probably are newer to the game and are looking for tips!
Well here is a useful one… Have you ever shot someone and they don’t die very quick? There is a easy solution, it is aiming for their head! It does much more damage, and snipers can occasionally 1-shot-kill if aiming for the head. This does much better dmage and sometimes 30% or more damage… Correct me if i am wrong, but this is the best way, and a way about 90% pro’s or cup player’s shoot, looking in kill chat of the pub ( top right) quicker kills or faster come when head shots are taken, you lose health quicker, but there are solutions to this!

  1. You can jump around and make you and your head much harder to hit.
  2. You can crouch or continually do: a,d,a,d,a,d.
  3. You can shoot there head while crouching and many shots may miss.

I hope you have found this useful and take it into consideration before your next match!
Thanks and play Dirty!

Ok well firstly, nice and all that to remind about headshot damage multiplier, but to make an entire thread solely for it…seems far fetched ._. Aim head, simple as that.

Now for your 3 bulletpoints there…

  1. For the last time and the love of god please NO. Against other low- to mid-level players it might be effective but against anyone with slightest bit of tracking skills, you’re just making your head’s trajectory laughably predictable. Once you hit spacebar from flat ground, for the next 0.5 seconds you’re going to be mid air for very predictable arc.

However, walljumping yourself for example in close quarter combat behind the enemy might be sometimes effective way to mess up with their aim. In any kinds of jumps however, you’re getting maximum bloom (spread) on your weapon and hitting stuff where crosshair is gets harder there. For the exact bloom amounts and how long till they “reset” I have no info of.

We got enough ridicule sh!tgun Proxies jumping like bunnies only getting kills because opposition is equally horrible and those lil’ sniping shotties are silly beyond measurement.

  1. Should make this more specific: TAP crouching, not full-on crouching. Dear Cthulhu we don’t need any more forever-crouching Vaseline/Skyhammer in this game. DB’s bread and butter is to STAY MOBILE, and while yes crouching does give you slightly tighter spread its not worth to be held for over a mere second, max 2. Fire from the hip and use iron sights only when bloom gets harsh or enemy is indeed on quite long distance.

Ad-ad-ad (a.k.a random-ish sideways movement) is highly efficent that’s where you’re correct. Keep the pattern unpredictable and it’s good way of keeping your head safer, alongside with occasional tap crouching.

  1. I’m not even completely sure what you mean with this as there seems to be typo somewhere, but I take it as that you’re disencouraging the forever-crounching tactic. Which I am completely agreeing on, crounching in DB is best left for doing long-jumps, taps for hiding / dodging and very very very very situational, actual crouch shooting.
