Thanks for the comments FLuffy, alot of things you mentioned are already planned; just waiting until the layout is 100% complete (and extra time) to add them.
The pak gun might get changed to a ‘flak cannon’ once I get extra time to model it.

I wanted roads but the (dumbass) way I did the terrain it would be very hard to implement at this stage. I have too many uneven slopes, narrow paths, etc. :\

Thanks for the command map comment, the height colors are messed tho but I’ll spend more time on it when it’s done. I just wanted something ‘ok’ looking to test with.

I got the scripting done (finaly) I just need to tie everything up now so it actualy work.

Looking very good indeed. Keep up the good work.

I’m intrested in playing this map when it comes out, but also am willing to (beta)test. I can give you some info on how it plays on a lower end system - a lot of custom maps have crap fps compared to the original game because of lack of time and knowledge to tweak. In my opinion, and because my system isn’t very fast, it is important to know how the map plays on slower systems since not everyone can afford a P4 3 ghz with GFFX+ videocards.

:clap: has to be the best one I have seen yet. the map looks great and very well thought out. Mine is in very early stages but after seeing yours I think I may stay in the planning stage a little bit longer, Keep up the great work, can’t wait to play it. :drink:

looks like a map to make other people “kick it up a notch” on their projects.

What are some of the objectives going to be ?? :???:

Here’s my objective list;

// Objectives
// 1: the Flak Cannon (main part1)
// 2: the Main Door
// 3: Forward Shack
// 4: Ammo Supplies (main part2)
// 5: the Ammo Storage Gate
// 6: the small wall
// 7: Command Post - [not done]

You need to have both objectives 1 and 4 destroyed to win.

It looks great, and let me add that it wouldn’t hurt to beta test it even before the objectives are done, this way you can get some feedback early and work on those things earlier.

Anyhow count me in for a beta test, it kicks ass.

I’ve never really been that fond of the anti tank guns from Oasis. As an alternative, you could look at the quad 20mm cannons Rummie had on Airstrip 2 (don’t know if those actually came from Depot) or the 88mm gun that Menzel uses on Normandy Breakout.

Yeah, I agree, that why I mentioned I was going to model a new one that fits my map.
