EAC interfering with my recording software

I use a recording software (at the moment) called D3DGear. It is a low-impact recording and broadcasting software. I just got it, and work great… except in Dirty Bomb. It will show me my framerate just fine, but when I try to record or broadcast, it gives me this error:

I wasn’t sure if I should put this in bug reports or not, so if it should have been there, please move it.

I’ve already filled a bug report on their forums page saying EAC stops OBS from being able to view it even at the video card level. Hopefully they’re looking into it. I’m really tired of having to LOSE FPS because of the update, rather than gain it.
