Thanks for the heads-up on the time.

(LyndonL) #3

bloody hell thanks a lot for that… I haven’t left my computer since I read this post 2.5 hours ago!!

I’m sure my girlfriend will biff me soon!

(Paul) #4

2:40 pm in which time zone (A)?
What’s that in GMT +0?

(abrain) #5

It`s 23:40 GMT+0.

(Pytox) #6

Their timezone is pdt, 9 hours difference in CET

So I guess it’s around 11:40 pm CET
Also, won’t there be a live show of gamespot?

BTW: Thursday 5PM it’s RAGE

(Voxie) #7

Here are some live streams (hopefully some of them will stream Bethesda’s showing):
GameTrailers
GameSpot
IGN
YouTube (via IGN partnership)
1UP
G4tv Online
Eurogamer also liveblog here.

And last but not least, I configured a countdown to the event here.

Hope this is helpful at all.

(LyndonL) #8

LA is PDT which is -7 GMT so therefore it’s 21:40 GMT from my counting.

(Voxie) #9

Just don’t forget to take daylight saving time into account. Here’s a definitive world clock showing when the event will begin.
Iceland is the only country in the world that’s at GMT+0 right now; UK is at +1 and Central Europe is at +2

(LyndonL) #10

Don’t forget Morocco is also GMT+0
(Sorry… boredom does this)

(Voxie) #11

Actually, Morocco uses Western European Summer Time right now; here’s a list of countries that stays at GMT+0 all year round.
Good thing we never steer off topic, eh?

(coolstory) #12

2:40 pm PDT… whats that in eastern standard time?

(mortis) #13

I think we should have one world time, and people would simply work when the sun is up in their region, but have a clock that is the same everywhere. It would eliminate a lot of confusion…

(H0RSE) #14

5:40 pm.
We are +3 from California.

(murka) #15

Indeed, everyone use UTC nao!

(Reanimator) #16

Arizona never has daylights saving time, you mad ;)?

Interesting… I set “Casablanca” in my phone as it’s the only setting in Nokia that allows for UTC without taking Daylight Saving into account. It never changes all year long. Weird.
