Anyone knows how many damage (in HP) can give dyna? I’m building a map where you have to blow a very resistant door with mor than 1 dyna, but if I don’t know how many HP takes, I can’t do an acceptable door (not too resistant but also not too weak).
Dynamite
Make a normal dynamitable object, but give it two stages, so when one is destroyed the other appears in its place, and when that is destroyed nothing appears to replace it.
:???: I didn’t understood it, but i think that it isn’t the solution to my problem.
I forgot to say that the door can be damaged by EVERY weapon, also the knife, like the windows or chairs in the game, but it has really more HP, so all the players of the team are trying to destroy it, with guns, SMG’s, panzers, mg’s, granades, satchels, dyna & the other weapons i didn’t mentioned, so, if I want that the game don’t finishes too early, i have to make it very resistant, so the players uses some minutes before destroying it.
Understood my problem? :???:
I think that what you really want to do is making the objective dynamitable only (see tutorials for how to do that elsewhere in this forum.)
My first test map was a map where allies had to steal a document from the axis. The document was inside an ice/glass cube which the allies had to fire at before the stole the documents. I think I set the health of the cube to something like 2000. I think the damage yielded from a dynamite is like 100-something. Why don’t you just make a testmap with several objects and try it out?
Why? Because it’s easier to ask someone
BTW, actually the door resistance is 999999… I think that if dyna takes ~100 i have to dramatically lower the door resistance
