dynamite wall prefab

i’m just a beginner and i want to create my own map. i wanted to add a dynamiteable wall to my map. i’ve read a lot of tutorials and my wall could always be destryed by a knife. can anyone give me a link with a prefab of such a wall??? i really need one. qqrydza

here is an idea, if ur wall has a health key/value remove it, then in ur scipt where u have constructible_class put a 3 behing it, this tells the game that this can only be blown up by dynamite

tnx for fast reply. i allready did this constuctable_calss 3 but it doesn’t change anything. and this http://www.wolfensteinx.com site doesn’t exist. any other ideas??

This is a good site with a tutorial for ET http://swat-clan.com/marko/mapping.html.
The ones metioned by steamhead are for rtcw, the tutorials there are good for basic mapping but not more advanced topics such as this.

if those doesnt work, ill try and make a prefab/ tutorial for u, it will have to be later though cause i have school tomorrow. maybe when i get home if the homework doesnt kill me lol

thnx, but it unfortunatly doesn’t work! i can destroy it simply by firring bullets, but i can’t destroy it using dynamite!!! do you know why is it happening???

use the map in a box by ifurita, it has loads of stuff in including your dynamiteable wall prefab thingy you wanted

i did but i can’t see a dynamiteable wall. which one is it?? if it’s one that you construct i can also destry it by bullets :disgust:

that map I made works…so many people have used it and thanked me for it and I just tested it again !!! :beer:

Why it isn’t working for that guy is beyond me…just put it into your etmain and play it, do not dissect it…if you can’t get that file to work…well…

i know. i just use the script that i’ve got with this prefab. but when i copy it to my map it stops working. you know what i mean??

Let me guess, your map doesn’t have a script_multiplayer entity in it, with a scriptname value = game_manager
