I don’t think random damage will necessarily favor noobs, it was just an example. But again, that only works if you see it over a series of kills. After a series of kills, it’ll even out again. For a single kill, the less skilled player maybe wins because of good luck. So it depends how you look at it.

A bell curve is a good idea, so the effect of randomness won’t be too big. After all, I had to play it that way to finally decide if I like it or not. Maybe it’s time for a mini-mod :).
