well, it kind of did. I just finally got tired and took textures i know i wouldnt use and put them in photoshop and made my own. I hope i dont run out, but what the hell.

If you mean you modified textures that come with the game, and didn’t rename them, that is a shockingly BAD idea.

Because anyone who has your map installed will see your textures, even on other maps (with addition complexity with pure servers if it is multiplayer.)

It isn’t hard at all to use custom textures. There is no difference between a ‘custom’ texture and an offcial texture.

damn it, damn it to hell. i cant get my custom textures to work right. This is the bane of my game.

terzin, try downloading a map that uses custome textures, then open up the pk3 and see how they are structured inside the folder

btw you may want to re instal rtcw as you have just buggerd up your game by overwiting all the textures, and you would bugger everyone elses textures who you sent your map to
