Yes that’s what people want to see. It gives a high killrate and that makes echo statistics very significant. It would would generate less situational information to balance the combat power of classes on.

Naturally SD still needs to keep an eye on the objective worth of the classes but yeah the combat strength would become very obvious.

I voted yes, like you said I don’t really see any heavy counter arguments against it.

It will give the opportunity to testers to have a clear testing ground for weapons and also act as gathering point during the little-activity periods of time during the day or for the less populated area player bases of the alpha.

It would be nice indeed if SD had the time to mod us a little box (no textures but graduations/scales/boxes/circles etc) and host it.

I think for testing its OK. I hate dueling like in the ET small maps. I just want to play in a USA server with People… Sick of Euro lag but the game is still in Alpha however wondering how I’m dieing so fast, people bobbing up n down on stairs and my shaky screen is making me /quit and not really wanting to come back for a long while.

Is there a private video upload site or on this forum we can update really HQ Movies from us playing?

With such a small player base a small un-textured map wouldn’t go a miss.

Back on ET there was several smaller maps used for 1on1’s. Simple with hardly any cover.

A simple map like Valdez suggested would be perfect and fun for even as much as 3v3 aim practice.

He probably means why a separate aim map and not use the TDM mode.
One important difference now is that people spawn in nearly random areas so you have no idea where the enemy is coming from. Aim maps mostly have a small number of common paths so it’s easy to guess where the enemy is coming from and thus takes the “first see, first kill” variable out of the equation.

3v3 / only aim / Small maps, look like a TDM to me …
even if I like LNA 1v1 maps for the moment I think this is not so important cause we already have a “TDM” server.
Just use it. nope ? problem solved

The TDM servers use stock maps altered for TDM not small maps designed for aim practising.

Yes, we like this idea. I’ve already started making a small duelling map for you to play with. Hope to get it out in the next patch, but no promises - not enough hours in the day.

I’ll update here when I get it done. Patience is a virtue :slight_smile:
