Good Day Folks,

Here are screenshots of some new models I am working on. There for me new map, but once thats done I’ll be releasing them to the comunity.
There will be two versions of each, winter & temperate, as well as animated tag blocks, shaders, etx…
There will also be new skins for my opel blitz and jeep models, light fittings, machine tools & props, small train type thing as well as anything else I make between now and then.

Wow! Great work! I like the models, but I can’t get warm with that nasty green skins. :wink:

Any plans for damaged models in addition?

Propbly not, Im using the models a “misc_models”, it will require quite a bit of work to set the models up for use as “misc_gamemodels”. Rather than have diffrent skins, I will be doing a model for each skin in low res’ and high res’ textures (that will please Iffy), this should make things easier for the mappers using them.

Making new models versions would add more time to the project, time I much rather spend else where. :wink:

Oh, when you post up the models, can you also give your recommended modelscale values? This would help us size the vehicles correctly for our maps. :slight_smile:

Hello everyone… Detoeni, I went on the site ETmaps and I downloaded your model “dt_oblitz” which was there. But I do not manage to use it. :frowning: I however put the file dt_oblitz.shader in the folder “script” and I added his name in “shaderlist.txt”. I also placed the file dt_oblitz in the repertory etmain/models/mapobjects/.
But when I charge the models in radiant, it posts me a transparent cube with white lines and some red lines. :disgust: I check even the access path of the models while pressing on key N And it is however correct… :???:
What did I badly make or not made? Thank you in advance.

Sorry for my English but I used a translator of text. I come from Belgium…

Do you have this problem with just my models or with all models?

Just your models. The others appeared as that also but it was enough whereas I change the access path and it was regulated.

If you have put the models in the right place, added the shader to the scripts folder and added its name to the shaderlist.txt as you say you have, then it should work.
Your entity path should be as bellow.

(if you use dt_oblitz_tag.md3 that should appear as a wire cube all other models should work fine)

Goto the “view” tab, then to “entities as” and make sure its set to “skinned”

If the above is correct then there must be a problem with your radiant set up, if other models from the game show up then Im at a loss as to what the problem may be.

do you get any errors in the console in radiant, when you try to load the models?

Thank you so much Detoeni :drink: The problem was very simple, the file was noted MD3 and not md3 then it did not appear :???:
That functions very well. Very nice model, you are very gifted. Good job :smiley:

The models were made in 3ds max, with the textures done in photoshop.

There done and free, but you’ll have to wait to I’v finished my map before you can get your paws on them.

Not sure when the map will be done, but I’v not much to do, but other projects are taking my time atm.

You’ll have to make do with this picture for the moment. :slight_smile:
