I believe this gun is up to one of the worst in the game. I currently have it on Kira and oh God its noticeable how much worse it is than the Default Kira weapon. This gun is not good at all. Now don’t get me wrong I’ve been on a few head shots sprees with it which actually the gun can handle well and it shows the damage but vs every other primary it pretty much loses.

Thing is on Kira though, that using the Dreiss comes with an Augment that reduces the cooldown time of her Laser, ups its Area of Effect, and gives you better Footstep detection. But, if you use the BR-16, you get worse Augments.

You have to decide - Good Gun, or Good Perks?

That’s specifically with Kira. On Arty, it is also pretty bad when compared to most other primary weapons.

Don’t you mean the stark? I’d love a dreiss loadout with those perks…

The Dreiss is a good weapon if you can aim. Compared to the Burstrifles.
It has very high per bullet damage, is very accurate and is more effective at range than both burstrifles (Dreiss has less damage fall off).
All three demand good headshot aim. But in the end it mainly comes down wether you are cool with the wait time between bursts or if you rather want to constantly bling away.

First of all, don’t spray unless using iron sights, second, tap, like in Happy Gilmore, just tap it in. And of course, aim for the head.

It’s amazing! The only thing that’s holding the AR Dreiss back is how all of it’s loadout cards on both Arty and Kira have double support augments.

If we could have a AR card with Focus or Drilled it would be an amazing combo!

there is a kira dreiss + drilled. I’m using it right now!

hmm looking at the bronze loadouts I see not a single card for arty that has a dreiss and two support Augments?
They all have one (if you count spares as support augment).
One less damage from explosions (either all or your own).

One card gets both explosion reduction augs. And the other two get quicker weapon raising (not that bad for an ADS merc like Arty) and Chopper (imo questionable but on the other hand I love when he says “I kill you oldschool”)
