Dreiss AR feels like it's shooting blank ammo

Ok, I really like to use Dreiss. But sometimes I feel like I’m shooting a fucking blanks. And today this happened. Am I blind, or I should hit this guy several times yet no damage was dealt? You can see in slow motion that something is definitely wrong. At least that’s my opinion. What are yours?

i have this happen sometimes, turned on ping hits so i know if its just my shit aim but lately this happens when im shooting a high ping player (300-900ping)

Tbh dreiss is quite a terrible gun even if it does dmg, for a semi auto assault rifle it has some terrible hipfire accuracy.

I’m pretty sure your spread was just ruined by that initial long jump you did before you started shooting - that midair time increased your spread by a lot, and you didn’t give it any time to reset before you started shooting, so basically your spread was already massive on your first shot, and it only got worse.

Yay for Splash Damage… NOBODY wants this bullshit RNG factor which punishes players for being mobile and aggressive.

This is partially why I made the “remake” thread in the first place, because I feel the same way. I think I even said that in the thread somewhere. Basically unless I am standing 100% still I feel like the Dreiss just misses shots that feel like they are hitting.

I can strafe around at any pace with the Stark and even double jump / bounce off walls and land perfect shots without missing and do it consistently time after time with the Stark or BR-16 but the Dreiss is just shocking.

Edit: Also it’s not a single shot gun thing. I am quite good with the Grandeur, in fact some of my highest K/D games have been with the Grandeur and I am currently hitting 59% accuracy with it according to my profile. Loads and loads of hipfire headshots from quite large distances, but the Dreiss no luck at all.

Dreiss is my second best gun when it comes to kills per minute. I’m killing 2,87 players per minute (one every 21 seconds) with it. I’m only better with Crotzni - 3,01 kills/minute, so basically it’s only 1,1 seconds faster at each kill :slight_smile:

Yeah, that was it, I think. But this spread is just too big. I wasn’t far from that guy, firing directly at him several times and he took only two last hits, when I was really close.
