hello, i dont usually post unless im absolutely lost and i am, i have a map made where u blow up a block and the map is over. i want it longer, i want the block to blow up and a portion of the wall to fall down like a draw bridge opening up and letting an army out. i have no idea what to look for in helping with scripting this together or binding it using entitites. so can someone help me, with this, thanks.

perhaps the fun_explosive can be linked to a rotating door disguised as a peice of wall???

Have the drawbridge as a script_mover, and when the func_explosive is triggered, trigger the script_mover to move downward using faceangles.

Create the drawbridge from a script_mover entity and rotate it using the script. Here is an example of 2 different methods of rotation using scripts.

Its important you make this drawbridge object a script_mover because this entity type cannot be blocked or stopped via players. If the drawbridge can be blocked you will get some idiot try and break the map, especially if the object is triggered only once.

ok i have problem now, i tried some different ways to do face angels but i coulndt get it to work, it tells me some paremeters are needed and i dotn know how to do it. so here is the wut i have in my script, everythign is matched on my map so no problems on that its just my script i cant get the scripting correct.

the one above dont work

this one worked but had it continuosly spinning in a swinging door motion, lol as u can tell im lost, a bit more help in detail please.

all i need help is the scripting for the facangels, that are necessary to make the bridge go from an upright postion, to move ninety degrees to a flat position.thanks everyone

ok i got the speed goin the way i awnt. but the angles, its all messed up. i put it on -50 0 0 500 and it moves down but away from the wall, and so i change it to -90 0 0 500 and it goes completely down, like it ends up on the first floor laying flat instead of laying on the second floor flat. lol thanks for ur help madjack i needmore tho lol. i think i need like a group brush or a origin brush? but how do i make it go down in one postion is wuts puzzling me. if u need pictures just ask ill post it.
