Doubled Loadout Cards

Hello,

some days ago I experienced the fact, that one could get allocated the same Cobalt Loadout Card twice.

When that happens I was obviously frustrated, because no plausible reason came to my mind why this should happen! There is absolutely nothing what one could to with 2 similar cobalt loadouts, at least as long as we do not have any trading capability with other players, which won’t be implemented anyways because on inflation…

So I hope this frustrating and useless element in the game can vanish. I think it wouldn’t be difficult to change the algorithm to avoid the duplication. Should be quiet easy to implement, because the calculation happens server-side anyways which means no client patching necessary.

So what do you think? Or do I miss the game design reason why this actually makes sense?

From my understanding, they do plan on implementing a trading system, but I maybe wrong. It’d be one of those features that isn’t imperative, so it won’t be happening anytime soon.

Thanks. This would be great, but I don’t think this will happen, because 95% of the loadouts would suffer a massive deflation with all its subsequent effects, which is not in Splashdamages interest, because this would negatively impact their monetization on Dirty Bomb and at the end of the day, they are all greedy capitalists… :wink:

Mind you this is still in beta, they are going to release more items which cost money, to allow them to receive more profit. That’s one of the main reasons why there is no trading quite yet.

I’m sure there are going to be skins that you can only purchase with money as well as other cosmetic items. They plan on separating the cards in to character cards and weapon cards, which allows for more variety.
