doors and scripts

And yet another question related to the properties of objects.

I searched the forums and found others asking similar questions but not quite what I need to know.

How do I tell a door to unlock and open from a script?

BTW - Chrucker had a thing on his website that was like what I keep asking for. It shows various properties and functions associated with various entities and brushes. It just doesn’t seem complete. Very helpful however.

There is no way with the default ET entities AFAIK. Have alook at this thread:

I was looking for that stuff just yesterday.
I knew there was an updated entities.def but couln’t remember where to find it.
I was going to search for it today so thank you for saving me some time.

This should be VERY helpful.

I was looking at the innards of Monte Cassino as they had doors doing what I need to do.
They were useing the func_lock and I couldn’t figure out where that came from.

Now I know.
