ummm there wasn’t really any documentation in the sdk that I could find, only commented code.

The documentation is on http://www.iddevnet.com/ It’s not the full D3Radiant documentation that you might have been waiting for, but it does at least explain a few bits like how to discover the size fields in the mapdef.

Anyone know where I can get a make file/script for
building using gcc on Linux?

Anyone know of a way to convert a Visual Studio
project file into a Makefile?

I’m sure id has one somewhere (the Linux version of D3
appears to have been compiled with gcc 3.x and there are
notes in the sources indicating changes needed for gcc),
but I don’t see anything related to gcc in the SDK.
