I think the cooperative multiplay being exclusive to xbox sucks tbh . Really deeply unhappy about that.

BAH, I give it a week before it’s modded into the PC version. Sif have an XBox-only ANYTHING for DOOM >_<

yeah same here, though it’s about the only thing. Fair few people moan on and on about it just being a horror fps shoot em up, only 4 player MP, etc etc blahblah. I’m just looking for more or less Doom on 2004 technology, with added bonus of a peek at the engine a dozen other games will be built on.

Doubless someone will make a mod of it, wont be as good as the real deal though.

Well CM…Punk as it was just announced pretty much yesterday that DOOM 3 has gone gold I’m sure there are some people who don’t know yet. You sound awfully bitter toward it anyway… any particular reason why?

Oh just every forum has about 25 announcements of it going gold, it’s kinda hard to miss it. At least there’s just the one thread about it here.

Anyone ever MOD for Quake 3? All you really needed was: Notepad, WinZip, Gmax, Image Editor (Photoshop or PSP) & Q3Radient…all essentially free (with a few cracks here n’ there) :wink:

I can’t wait to sink my teeth into mucking about inside that engine to MOD all sorts of things!

Rumor has it: they’re still using .PK3 files! None of that proprietary BS that needs a special editor that usually has more bugs than a New York City apartment.
