Dont know what to say about Nexon

I only heard that Nexon is bad, I gave them a fair chance. But Nexon prove me wrong. They are even worse than that I heard.
So I did a little research and I found this:

I dont know what to say, just this: Break the contract with nexon and do it yourself. All the so called “knowledge” from them is way too little when you compare it to their reputation. Nexon’s name does hurt xt and SD, get rid of them. Their support is a joke.
I know that SD has the control over gameplay decisions, but at the end, it doesnt matter because the bad rep of Nexon will spoil it.
I just had a look the MoneyPenny’s Profile, his last log in was Oct 10th 2013. Almost half a year ago. He doesnt care about the game, he doesnt care about SD, he just cares about $$$. Same for the rest of nexon, no one cares there. From time to time you get some words from them, but only some blabla without any content. The forum did improve a bit, but now its stuck in this stage. It cant be that hard for a big company like nexon to give us a proper forum. The support is pure ****. They need 4 months to answer a ticket and in the answer is no solution for the problem. Its just saying, thanks for submitting the ticket, but due to overload of ticket we cant help. Thats not support, thats stealing money from SD and from the Alpha guys who bought themselves in.

Nexon america is a really really tiny part of nexon.

SD isn’t going to drop nexon. I mean that would spoil the chance to release xT in Asia (and be succesful in terms of money). Asia is the place for making money with f2p games.

Also in the article on polygon SD contacted nexon for releasing the game in Asia.

SD partnered with Nexon to get more time to work on the game. This is kinda going against their goals to start an insurrection in here as they will use time to deal with it rather than working on the game. Maybe the word “insurrection” is too strong, but I see Nexon being attacked in at least 2 threads on these forums and probably a few on their own forums. Badman said they are working on solving the issues we have voiced, but decisions such as leaving Nexon on the side is not ours to make imo.

Sure Nexon is not efficient, sure it looks like they don’t give a sh** about the game, sure I’m annoyed by all this but ultimately SD makes the calls. I’d like more clarity and communication on these topics though because that’s how you can start to solve the problem.

EDIT : tired of giving feedback on everything else but the game …

that article is 2 years old.

nexon blows, we all know this, but i dont expect them to do anything until open beta. that will be a make or break moment when 1000’s of people worldwide go to that travesty of a forum. I’ve said it before, but i think going with steam wouldve been a much better option, but this has been explained away in the past

I find it counter productive to second guess Splash Damage’s decisions on their partners and associates. I’m pretty sure that out of all of us, SD is the only successful game developer, I’ll trust their choices. Because at end of day the whole thing is about being able to feed the beagles

with that said, I certainly hope Nexon either steps up or steps aside for tech stuff when game goes to open beta. As it is their forum is useless

and c’mon guys, we’re here to beta test the game, not SD
