domination map

hi folks

my new map goes in the last steps

i have a objective map, a fun map, a ctf map…

and now a DOMINATION map

success 80% do finework and at least scripting…

and now the crux

i want to domination flags. script run fine, but i want to show all flags in the commandmap.
cant find any map who show all flags (owned, enemy or neutral) in commandmap.
is there any way to do this with script? or is this another cant do by engie?

btw i have a plan B so i copy a flagsymbol in the commandmap, but hope i can do the actualy situation show in map.

As far as I remember correct drakir has made a domination map (with “street” in the name).
You could have a look at that map…

I would connect to your server if it didn’t need all the additional pk3s that change game menus and stuff, last time I connected I had to reinstall the game to play else where. (think I mentioned this before) Domination only needs few custom maps, venice, depot, wolken and dubrovnik. :wink:

@chr1s I have removed that file, which makes the problem you described.
Yet there is still a custom file for domination.

after delete a lot of things (bad) an reduce the hunkmeg need (good) the map goes in beta for playing.

map description:

In a recently unsealed burial chamber a mechanism to open the Portal of RA was found. Ancient hieroglyphics speak of Ra’s magical powers and say that an army under Ra’s banner would be invincible! Secure the 12 portals and thus open the Flame of Ra for your team!

Hmpf, I get the hunk alloc failed error and the amount is pretty big

hmm, the huncalloc was gone after deleting some stuff in the map…

since i play Et i always had 128 and never had any problem and i just added today for our rotation Fueldump and transmitter so i hope all the guys will have their hunkmegs fixed soon

maybe you should write into loading screen that you have to set huncmegs to 256. this way, when it freezes, players at least know what is wrong. only a suggestion, no must.

Even with the hunkmegs changed, I get this (see screenshot below).
Maybe I’m the only one having the error

(screenshot is rather big, but uploading via the forum itself gave a very tiny picture)

com_hunkmegs 128 works fine for me.
But I found some visual bugs:

First: the yellow ball isn’t visual underwater
Second: 2 faces (stairs and trim, main room) over each other.

thx wezelkrozum, i search the wall and fix the doubleside

the shader of the water overwrite the shader of the fireball… cant do anything (perhaps a sign no diving in the pool? hrhr)

the hunkmeg kills me. test on two computers, one runs with 56 fine, other with 256…
no plan what to do. and i dont know why my map need such a huge memory. i reduce the quantity and quality of the textures. before the need was 512 hunkmeg…
