Dome Performance

For some reason, when i play dome, my fps drops to the point that it is noticable and annoying. Other maps are fine, or okay, but geez. Fix dome somehow. That might sound ignorant, but i honestly dont know the work that goes behind fixing maps so… But seriously, dome is a prob

I’m experiencing the same thing, all other maps are fine but on Dome my frame rate is horrendous and I keep getting micro-freezes :s

Been like that ever since they applied the textures, the old blockout version used to run fine.

Dome is fine for me, it sounds like a corrupted file.

I have this issue, if it is a corrupt file should I just reinstall the game to see?

Verifying your local files through Steam would be faster.

You can still try a reinstall if verifying does not fix the issue.

Probs just map optimisation. I get slightly lower framerate on dome, and frame rate does sometimes drop below 40 when my game usually runs at around 100fps. The game isn’t optimised, but they are working on it.

yes, dome is heavy on performance, probably due to a sheer size of the map.

And I personally get little more laggy on trainyard sometimes on the second objective defender respawn.
