Dome (Is it too late?)

Dome is so close! Its time to make an interesting SW map!
I posted here about Procession and Spawns

Basically change first stage to what the image shows.

Second Stage is already down. Just Need to plant both Radars.

Delete Stage 3!!!

Done and there’s Dome that follows the basics of how a SW maps should be made.

Could you draw your idea over on an aerial shot of the existing map perhaps?

Dome stage 2 and 3 are very good. The map was almost perfect when there was no stage one.
All went worse when SD started to mess with a new 1st obj. the one they added first was crap and this one is bad as it is ( but at least has potential )
i´ve only seen attackers get the 1st obj. in a very unbalanced game.

  • change 1st obj to more attackersfriendly so that we can actually play the whole map and not only stage 1 or maybe 1 and some minutes stage 2.
    its uselass to have a map with 3 stages where stage 2 and 3 rarely get played.
  • take stage 1 out of the map. make anotheone from it and make some changes to stage 2 and 3 so that they work out as a map. ( wich isnt too hard as the map was almost fine when only these two stages where in it )

Spookify: i dont exsactly get what you mean with your drawing but might go in the right direction.

Noooooo ! The last stage is the best part of the Map, and blow only 1 container on 2 is perfect it gives you more tactical choices, Just balance the 1rst obj (defense biased) and it will be the first DB good map.

Stop cutting the map in half !

For now it’s clear to pick right container because left is too open(read: Snipers everywhere).

i dislike that you cannot plant both containers now.
this limits possibilities for attackers. before we could plant a distracting sneaky bomb, that was 100% defusable, but it took 2-3 guys from defence to defuse and cover, so that attackers can push other container. now you cannot plant the other container, until the first one is defused. =/

This make the tactical choice more relevant to me, I think it’s better this way.
If you plant both sides it’s really difficult to retake both objective.

because the layout needs improvement for defenders. they need to be able to retake any objective, even both if they realy work hard and fast.
