Does the Dreiss need a buff.

I don’t feel it NEEDS a buff. I think it does it’s job fairly well and still has a good place. However I would absolutely be fine with it getting a buff, I would love it in fact.

I just think it should take 2-3 bullets less to kill. It also gets really difficult to kill when you are engaged in CQC so a slightly higher ROF and less spread would make it good.

After the latest nerf I really can’t find a reason to use it over the BR-16 or the PDP. My playstyle just compliments those two more.

Na it’s just really hard to use. The ones that use it well are scary.

I don’t think so… I wouldn’t mind a change, but as far as I noticed and as an occasional Arty player it seems to perform okay. At least as long as you are engaging at longer ranges, which is how you are supposed to use it. It may feel lackluster due to burst weapon’s 165 DPS probably, so a small fire rate buff shouldn’t be too much maybe.

Well its not that difficult especially if you are using from long range, and when you are in CQC you just need to shoot really fast and strafe. I do think it needs a fire rate buff because against other high rate of fire weapons you easily lose the gunfights.

I used to play arty alot more before the fire rate nerf, now i cant touch him.
While the dps of dreissar currently is 125, in paper it looks good but in reality it does not work since it semi auto weapon and players cant tap the mouse as fast to get the 300 rof. while players could not tap the 360 rof either it still increases the amount of meaningfull taps.

So i think that some fare ammouth of rof increase cound work, but not as big number as the 360.

However this is my oppinion and i have seen people that can still use the Dreissar very effective, im just one of those that cant anymore.

Fire rate nerf ruined the gun big time. Reverse it and the max spread without ADS. Do keep the lower recoil though.

Yes it does need a buff, and no it doesn’t need a buff.

Currently my issues are that every other gun in the game is incredibly accurate, meaning I can’t hit anything at long range if I’m simply getting aimpunched from across the map. If aimpunch got decreased over distance, to basically no aimpunch at far away, then I wouldn’t have much of a problem.

Other times it just feels unfair when I get sniper by a Crotzni from across the map, when I was the one using the rifle.

This is the scariest rifle I’ve ever seen in this game.

Lots of recoil, low RoF and mag, but I think those are all compensation of the damage 25, or 50 with head.

Previous nerfs were too much for the Dreiss, so they rollbacked a bit, and I find this gun quite proper.

Difficult to master, but so horrible when this gun’s experts kill you with only 3 shots in to your head when you play Fragger. Really did happened, my experience.

I wouldn’t even call it a buff, but just a Itty bitty RoF increase would be nice. Other than that I do just as well with it pre-buff/nerf. It’s a gun that requires patience to learn. I’ve had many friends say they hate it then watch me top board with it only to try it out and stick with it until they master it.

Bit higher rof so u atleast stand a chance in cqc against those speedy demons (without getting a lucky headshot).

Lately i have been re-learning to use the dreissar with Redeye, seems to be the only REAL good option for him, however with arty i cant use it anymore.

However i think that just like sensitiveJellyfish said, it need small rof buff. While in theory the dreissar has 125 dps it wont be the reality thanks to semi-auto fire.

What’s the difference between using it on Arty and Red-Eye? It’s just that Red eye can sometimes hide behind smoke? In other words it’s the least bad option for Red Eye since the Grand is even worse?

There is no reason to use dreiss honestly. If it didnt have that annoying horizontal recoil and had like 0 spread for first 10 shots then it might be worth it, but since m4 is more accurate while having the same dps its pretty silly.

The funny thing is that there is no major difference between Arty and Redeye outside abilities and i have no idea why i can dominate with Redeye + Dreissar but then lose all the time with Arty + Dreissar.

Also yes, its the least bad weapon for him…
