does PS3 support dedicated servers???

hi guys, i plan on getting the game on my birthday wich is 1 week for now, seeing that the game is all abut team based ,and how good it is for the people i think it would be worth the money, but i wanna ask if it supports dedicated servers for the ps3 , wich i strongly require because i have crappy internet and latency…

so hows the matchmaking in ps3? is it alright? can i connect easily and with minimal lag?

No dedicated servers on PS3. It’s P2P. Just like Xbox 360.

There are some lag issues arising with the 360 version. However I have been watching a Brink playthrough on youtube and the guy is on 360 playing co-op with not as much lag as people have been saying.

Now i dont know if his lack of lag is due to his extremely good internet conection or if it’s just pure luck.
Unfortunately PS3 players can’tgive any feedback at this stage :eek:
