Does DLC seperate players?

I was somewhat interested in buying the Agents of Change DLC, but I hear the game is dead to most. I was worried I’d buy it and drastically reduce the number of players I’d be able to interact with, since some games separate player bases by those with DLC and without. Are players with DLC still paired up with players that dont have it, or are they complete separate from each other? Thanks for the help.

On console, I’m pretty sure the matchmaking doesn’t seperate people. It just kicks you out if you don’t have the dlc when the maps are chosen. But I need confirmation on that.

On PC, I can confirm that you can play on any server without the dlc pack, except for when the dlc maps are actually being played.

Not having the pack restricts the amount of players you can play with.
