Does anyone use their pre-order stuff?

I was thinking about how I haven’t seen the Doom or Fallout shirts, or really any of the special pre-order items. Then I realized I hardly ever use mine.

Greeneye Scope - I’ve started using this on my ARs after finding out it has less penalty than the Red Dot Scopes.
The Sloani - I used this for the first few levels, but ditched it after I unlocked the beret.
Doggtags Tattoo - I prefer a “clean cut” look for my Security dude, so I haven’t bothered with tattoos.
Hockler MP - Haven’t found a use for this since I run Medium with AR/SMG. I might use it on a Light, though.

So are other people wearing their special gear and I’m just not paying attention to the details, or did the novelty just wear off too quick?

i use the hokler mp alot, as it holds a large clip, and i put green eye scope on all wepons i use at the mo.
i was using the doom smg, but decided to try something different. im always playing about with my characters look, so have not gone full mask yet, only hockey mask!

I use my Dogg Tats, and the Hockler occasionally. I prefer the adjusted Iron sights over any of the other reticules.

For the record, I have all pre-order bonuses.

The only one that is truly unique from a gameplay perspective is the Greeneye scope, which as noted in the OP is much like a COGA but with faster equip speed. I use it on most of my primary weapons (assault rifles and SMGs).

The skins on the Bulpdaun and the CARB-9 give you “extra” versions of two of the best SMGs in the game that you can spec differently (I spec one with Greeneye for a primary and one without for a secondary). The same is true of the two pistols (but I rarely play Light so having two versions is less of a benefit to me).

I don’t use much of the clothes/tattoos. In fact, none of my characters has any tattoo on them.

Huh, how did you guys get multiple pre-order bonuses? I assume it’s too late now? All things being equal, I probably would have gotten the Fallout pack, but I went with Steam due to laziness(haven’t bought a physical copy of a game in years).

Pre-ordered Brink special edition from game.co.uk. Now it costs 10 pounds less, oh well.

im using the gree-eye scopes on some of my weaps and one character has the dogtag tatoo

I don’t know if anyone other than I specifically confessed to having multiple pre-order bonuses. I pre-ordered three different versions of the game, and gave two away. Then, I rather randomly had one of my XBL friends give me the code for the one bonus I was missing. So all four I have.

I don’t use any of mine, I actually really wanted the psycho pack but steam only had that spec ops one.

They sell on Ebay for £2-3. I was going to sell mine but it’s really not worth it for that little.

They’re listed for more than that, but check out completed listings and they sell for this little. Worth it if you really want it, imo.

On console? Via the stores. PS3 won’t work until the store is back up. Perhaps that’s why they’re so cheap right now.

On PC, I guess via steam.

I was going to get the Doom pack until D2D offered a great discount on the game. :stuck_out_tongue:

I don’t use any of the stuff in my pack. The mask thing is just stupid looking in my opinion.
The tattoos are no big deal. And the weapons/accessories… meh…
