Does anyone know how to turn off/remove Windows 10 update?

I’ve followed several different videos and web pages to try to do this and it keeps coming back. I can’t play DB when it updates to the current build and i have to wait 15-20 mins to roll back the update. Any help appreciated. Thanks!

Down grafe to windows 8 problem soleved lol

As far as i know u can only delay updates. I thunk u need windows enterprise to disable updates

Yes its old article but its still valid as far as i know

I still dual boot with win 7 so i go back into 7 when i want to play db bacause db almost never loads in windows 10 any more for me.

This is why I hate Windows.

I had a batch script somewhere but I guess it’s long time gone.

It’s also worth to look at this: https://www.howtogeek.com/224981/how-to-stop-windows-10-from-uploading-updates-to-other-pcs-over-the-internet/ , I bought new laptop just to play some games including DB (I’m Linux guy), and then I discovered some strange shit like sth was kept uploading. It appears MS by default enabled sharing updates with others.

You uninstall it and get Windows95, it’s way better

you’ve turned off auto updates, right ?

even if you choose to turn off auto updates it will still update on the background and before shutdown

with the new system, it will say “remind me in x days” instead of turn off auto updates

the right way is to disable it through the services.

i have to rollback the update with system restore because it resets my custom resolution and graphics setting on my pc.
