Does anyone even lean?

Leaning has saved me far too often.

(Crytiqal) #3

Well done making a thread about it

(Weyoun) #4

Actually I find the game too fast-paced for even stopping the movement at all. Much less lean behind a corner

(ZXY) #5

dude I’m asking about lean in the game, not for you to up your post count by posting useless letters in my face:confused::confused::confused::eek::cool:

(throwback8) #6

Funny thing is I actually do. I use it to get some shots off on mobs when I am outnumbered. I can’t qui joy get some shots off, release lean and either retreat or continue to lean and survey their next move.

(Skunkee) #7

As a pure operative I use it quite often.

(SANDMAN DAN) #8

Great for sniping inbetween cracks in cover.

I was using it all day today, LOVE IT! People dont expect it sometimes hehe.

(KAS--Will) #11

I see people do it… but then I trip them and own them. I follow the number 6 rule of BRINK, NEVER stop moving…

I do use lean, like, when I’m defending the bot and someone is on the opposite side of the bot, I lean around it and try to own… but never very successfully.

I like to sneak around in enemy territory, I must plan my steps carefully.

(Ragoo) #13

Can’t be too fast paced to lean. Quake Wars was way faster especially with bunny hopping in firefights and I leaned all the time in firefights to dodge as well as around corners

(Mattc0m) #14

I lean. Good strat.

(tzod462) #15

I found myself STOPPING leaning…and here is why:

When you lean in this game, your mouse control over the cross-hair changes so that your movement no longer directly corresponds to the cross-hair on the screen. Once your “head” tilts to the side, moving up and down on the cursor moves the cross-hair in a diagonal motion, making it much more awkward to try to aim precisely.

I’d love to lean…so PLEASE Splash Damage, make it so that leaning does not change the way your mouse interfaces with the cross-hair in this way.

(Weyoun) #16

With the smart movement and sliding through enemies to hit them to the ground…it feels faster to me.

But than again my last MP-shooter was BC2. And that is quite slow. Maybe its therefore down to preference. I like to keep moving and therefore leaning is not to much of a useful thing to me.

Lean is amazing. Now if only prone was in the game to top it off.

Stealth?

I’m pretty sure explaining stealth to someone who spews emotes every time they flinch would be a lesson in futility.

(ed lolington) #19

lets be honest nobody who posts on these forums could in any way be described as “lean”.

(Sinner) #20

I’ve never actually used lean. In fact, I’m considering rebinding Q and E to more useful things.
