GTKRadiant has then built into the entity dialog now (at least with the newest versions). Pull up the entity menu with N. Then look at the top portion, if there’s no text detailing all the keys, you might have to pull a handle down (GTK widget with little bumps) to see it. Ever since 1.3 or so they’ve been adding in Q3map2 values too. I’m using 1.4.0 rc1 now and it does.

You’re gonna have to finger y for that (ehem, i mean Randy :)). You could try the source itself, but I don’t think the code comments are going to be much help.
Myself I have always wondered exactly where the extra “lighting precision” Carmack always talked about comes into play in the compiler or if it’s just an engine hack.
In fact, i am in a team, working on another engine and we want to have full Q3Bsp support. but we need more informations especially about the lights, we required more informations than there is in the Code Source.
I posted here, on SplashDamage waiting for an answer from Ydnar, i don’t want to mail him if i can meet him on a forum. i’ll wait before sending any mail.
btw, am the Level Designer, i know basic functionnement of the light, but am not able to give my Engine Coder (LordHavoc) all the informations he need.

Why not just download the q3map2 source code and check it out instead? You wont find and documentation about this anywhere (as far as I know), but the code is availabe.
We already have the code but we need more informations on lighting support.

How can there be ‘more information’ than the code ? :???: If there were documentation (which there isn’t) it would almost certainly be less accurate than the code :moo:
