Do you want the devs to change the current anticheat?

Since alot of people have problems with the current anticheat (incl. me, game crashes etc.) and the support doenst have any solution yet, I think this anticheat is very poor and the devs know this but maybe have to use it due some contracts, I dont know. I JUST WANT ANOTHER SO I CAN PLAY THE GAME :stuck_out_tongue: <3 still love u

You make it sound like it’s a task of pressing 1 key…

You have to understand server managment, and how lag is not just a huge issue to players, but if a player lags, the server also has to have a little bend, so players don’t get mis-banned due to “mom killing the router”.

Once you understand that, you then have to find the distinct characteristics for a hacked client, and not just an MLG player. Aimbot: Could the player just be really good at 180 no scoping, or did he use aimbot? In your eyes it’s clear, but to a binary server which task is to send packets in and out, while scanning to see if there is a set of 1’s and 0’s that don’t apply logically, it can be an issuse. Especially since computers were made to compute, not run some f2p shooter. When Dial-up was created, the worst people though was going to happen is someone opening 2 tabs.

You can’t just say, “Fix it now” because it takes longer than 5 minutes.

I know, but the game is “out” (its not out. I know!) for about 2 years now, and the AC still has issues with steam and TS for example. The game keeps crashing for month cuz of this AC, I tried everything possible (even reinstall w7) but nothing worked so far + other games which use this AC have the exact same problems

Upgrade to W10… And make sure you have a powerful enough PC. But no, this game has not been out for 2 years… As a closed beta player, there was no anti-cheat, so to say that this game has been out to the public for 2 years is false. Steam and TS is also not SD’s fault. I have steam, and use teamspeak all the time (teamspeak is on 24/7) and there is no issue. This “I can’t play the game” thing has nothing to do with anti-cheat, and has everything to do with your computer.

No it hasn’t. And I played even in the closed alpha. I know that the AC isnt splash damages fault but they chose to use Xign. And this AC is used by other games from nexon aswell (with the exact same problems). This AC is just very very poor and it is the reason I can’t play the game (my PC is a beast btw. gtx780ti, i7 4770k, 16gb RAM…). And guess what? When there was no AC, like u said, I was able to play the game without problems. I just hope they use another AC before they finish the game.

Again, there is an error with YOUR computer! This isn’t nexon’s fault, this isn’t SD’s fault, this is YOUR computer’s fault. Why a i7 computer is running windows 7 is a mistery even serlock can’t figure out, but UPGRADE TO WINDOWS 10! The issue may just be that your OS is too damn old.

Devs already said DB doesn’t work well with Win10. Also Win10 is pretty new and we all know Micro$oft uses early adopters as unofficial betatesters. I don’t touch Win10 unless there is at least one major patch.

They didn’t say it doesn’t work well. They said they can’t guarantee it works well for W10 since they haven’t had the chance to test and optimize the game for windows 10 yet.

I don’t understand a reason why should a poll like this even exist.

Developers told several times that they are working with new anti-cheat and testing it/fixing bugs before releasing it. This is the hot potato - question that people asked so many times almost in every livestream of developers and Shoe already answered to the same question over and over again:
It will come sooner or later.

Creating a poll like this is quite useless thing to do.

I created the poll before the devs told in their livestream that they are working on a new AC or that they are trying to change the current to the better.
